Fair condition overall with scratches, dings, chips, cracks, etc. The plastic on these is quite brittle and there may be some plastic bits rattling around inside the case. The battery slot door/cover is missing. Please see the photos for more details. The battery was tested to hold a charge, but duration of charge cannot be guaranteed. Charger NOT included.

Up for grabs: a magnificently chunky grey slab of 1998 engineering. Let's get this out of the way — it is GREY and it is BULKY. "Laptop" is a generous term. This is a desktop that got ambitious. It has the aerodynamics of a cinderblock and roughly the same lap comfort. Your thighs will know it's there. Your bag will know it's there. Airports will know it's there.

And it boots straight into real Windows 98 — not a theme, not an emulator, not a Raspberry Pi in a trench coat. Pre-installed and ready to use the second you find a charger (see below, in all caps, twice).



Condition report, no lies detected:
Fair condition overall, by which we mean it has LIVED. Scratches, dings, chips, cracks — full patina, artisanal wear, every scuff a story (probably about a LAN party). The plastic on these has gone quite brittle with age — relatable — and there may be some loose plastic bits rattling around inside the case. Free built-in maraca. No extra charge.

The battery door/cover is missing. It's out there somewhere, in a junk drawer, in 2003. The battery itself was tested and does hold a charge — for how long, nobody can say. Duration of charge cannot be guaranteed. It's a mystery box of uptime. Live dangerously.
