Apple Disk Drive IN BOX !, Mac, Macintosh, 800K, External Drive, M0131, MINT

in original box ! EXCELLENT COSMETIC CONDITION - includes original packing material - TESTED AND WORKING

includes manual , box, packing material, drive, and cable

Yes, the box. The actual box. From the actual 1980s. With the actual original packing materials still inside it, because some glorious human in 1986 looked at this foam and said "no. We keep this. Forever." And they were right.

This is the Apple 3.5" External Drive, model M0131 — the 800K floppy drive for the Macintosh. MINT. Not "mint for its age." Not "mint-ish." Not "the seller squinted and chose violence." MINT, in its original box, with its original packing, like it fell asleep during the Reagan administration and just woke up confused about why everyone's phone has no buttons.

What 800K gets you in 2026:

  • Roughly 0.0008 of a gigabyte
  • Less storage than a single photo your phone took of your lunch
  • One (1) glorious floppy disk's worth of your novel, your spreadsheet, your MacPaint masterpiece
  • Bragging rights that no cloud subscription can take from you

The specs, such as they are:

  • 800K capacity — and in 1986, that was showing off
  • 3.5" floppy disks — the save icon, in its original physical form
  • Model M0131, made for the Macintosh line (Plus, SE, Classic era — the beautiful beige years)
  • External, because internal storage was a luxury and we were made of sterner stuff
  • Serial connector that looks like it could dock a spaceship

Condition report: MINT. In box. Original packing materials. This is less "used computer part" and more "time capsule smuggled out of a 1986 Apple reseller." Collectors, you already know — the drive is the prize, but the BOX is the flex. Any fool can own the drive. You will own the drive the way it was born.

Perfect for: completing your Macintosh setup the period-correct way, shelf-display dominance over lesser collectors, transferring files at the speed of dial-up nostalgia, or simply holding a piece of computing history that still has its original foam like a tiny styrofoam sarcophagus.

IN BOX. ORIGINAL PACKING. MINT.

We keep saying it because it's the whole point.
